The anxious mind

I am caught up in my mind

A place you cannot find

A place that is for me

That I might just let you see

My mind is like a map

I should have told you that

On the day that you said hi

so you’d know I was not shy

I was really in my mind

a place that is unkind

I hope you do not mind

If I’m in my mind

as I listen to the waves

something else will say

you are not okay

and they don’t like you Tay

This is where I live

and this is why I give

All of my heart and soul

because I have a goal

To let you know I’ve grown

And you are not alone
